The Mission of
PacifiCorp Employees
Memorial Scholarship Fund
is to honor the service of fallen employees
by providing scholarships for continuing
education to qualified family members.
PacifiCorp Employees Memorial Scholarship Fund
is a non-profit organization that was created to provide educational
assistace to the family members of PacifiCorp employees who lost their lives
in the line of duty.
Since its creation, eligbility for educational awards has been
broadened, and if certain reserves are met, scholarships may be
granted to family members of all PacifiCorp employees.
The PacifiCorp Memorial Scholarship Fund exists through the donations from
PacifiCorp employees, PacifiCorp Safety Committee donations, grants
from PacifiCorp, donations from Utah Power Credit Union and through
other fundraising activities sponsored by the fund.
All of your donantions go directly to providing educational assistance
to PacifiCorp employees family members. The Fund is managed by a
volunteer Board of Trustees. There are no administrative costs that
are paid using donation dollars. Even the paper and printing for
brochures and the website you are reading was donated to the fund.
Donating to the fund is easy. An account for PacifiCorp Memorial
Scholarship Fund has been established at Utah Power Credit Union. You
can call the Credit Union and have money tranferred from your account,
send a check to the Credit Union, attention PacifiCorp Employees
Memorial Scholarship Fund, set up payroll deduction or even automatic
transfer from your account.
